When gates are activated in your bodygraph but the opposite gates of the same channel are not activated, those gates "hang" — they don't form a complete channel. Imagine a bridge built from only one shore: it reaches toward the other but doesn't connect.
Hanging gates create magnetic attraction. Your aura literally seeks people who have the gates activated on the opposite end of the channel. When such a person appears — the channel "completes," and you feel a powerful connection.
How Hanging Gate Mechanics Work
The bodygraph contains 36 channels, each connecting two gates between two centers. If only one gate of a pair is activated:
- You feel a "pull" — this isn't a conscious desire but energetic magnetism. You subconsciously seek people with complementary gates
- Transits can temporarily "complete" them — when a transiting planet activates the opposite gates, you temporarily experience the energy of a complete channel. This may explain why you feel different on certain days
